Palliative unit
Espoo Hospital has a palliative unit, which is formed by the palliative outpatient clinic, home hospital and end-of-life care and palliative care wards.
Admission to the palliative care unit requires a doctor’s referral. The same referral provides you with access to all of the unit’s services according to your needs. A treatment plant is prepared with you, and it will be observed by the entire palliative unit.
Palliative outpatient clinic
A palliative outpatient clinic contact can constitute a home visit, telephone call or clinic appointment. We will contact you regularly at agreed intervals.
Home hospital
Home hospital is available to support you around the clock. You can contact the home hospital at any time in matters related to your treatment and condition.
Home hospital nurses can be reached around the clock by calling 050 526 1398. The treating doctor and head nurse can be reached through the same number by leaving a call request.
Villa Glims and Villa Bell
When your condition requires inpatient care, you may be admitted to Villa Glims or Villa Bell through the home hospital.
