Accompaniment service

You may be entitled to an accompaniment service if your functional capacity has deteriorated so that you need the help of another person in everyday transactions.

The accompaniment service may be for you if you have no family members or loved ones who could help you with everyday service use and no access to self-financed services or the help of volunteers.

The accompaniment service is a discretionary service intended for more economically disadvantaged people.

The accompaniment service refers to assisting you with using services at home and outside the home. The service may include acquiring food and daily consumer goods and medications as well as accompanying you during visits to agencies or services. The accompaniment service may include escorting you to various events or recreational activities, such as a service centre or an indoor swimming pool.

In the accompaniment service, the assistant does not handle the client's financial affairs, handle cash, or use the client's debit card. Banking and financial affairs are managed with the help of family or loved ones. However, the service provider may accompany the client to banking services or shops. You must make any travel arrangements at your own expense.

The service is available on weekdays between 7:00 and 18:00. Support services organised as outsourced services, including cleaning, laundry and clothes care and service assistance can be granted for a maximum of eight hours a month.

Discretionary income limit: The maximum gross income for a single-person household is EUR 1,470 and for two-person households EUR 2,168 per month. For the purpose of the income declaration, we ask you to provide us with your most recent tax decision. The decision is not made solely on the basis of the client's income.
