Non-institutional services for young mental health and substance abuse patients

We offer help and support for young people in problems related to mood, coping with daily living or substance abuse.

The mental health and substance abuse services for young people provide you with guidance and counselling, evaluation, treatment as well as rehabilitation. You do not need a referral, but you can seek the services directly. You will find the contact information on the website of the well-being services county. The service is free of charge. You can seek the services in problems related to life management, mood, substance abuse or life crises, for example. Treatment is always planned together with you and your guardians or other people important to you are invited to join, if you allow it. The treatment may include individual or group sessions, family meetings or meetings with other people important to you. If necessary, we can also book you a physician's appointment, for example, to start medication or to refer you to further treatment. The treatment periods and their content are planned together with you and they last the agreed time. The services are based on mutual trust and are voluntary. If necessary, we will also cooperate with other services, such as student welfare services and family centre services. We will always agree on cooperation with you and with your permission.
