Activities supporting employment (Social Welfare Act, section 27 d)

We arrange different support measures for employment for people who, due to their disability or illness, require them.

Activities supporting employment are a social welfare service intended for people who, due to disability or illness, need special support measures to find employment in the open labour market. If you have long-term difficulties performing the ordinary tasks of everyday living due to injury, illness or other similar reason and need support measures to find employment, this service can provide you with the help and support you need. Such support may include, for example, adapting work tasks to suit you or providing you with more extensive orientation and guidance at work. Activities supporting employment are suitable for you if you are able to function almost independently and have the skills required for the job. Activities supporting employment involve paid work in an ordinary workplace, for which you are paid in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. You (and your employer, if necessary) will be supported by a job coach.
