Rehabilitative work activities

We support work and functional ability, and strengthen everyday life management skills to support employment.

Rehabilitative work activities are a social welfare service intended for people who are unable to work or participate in employment services due to limitations in their ability to work or function. In rehabilitative work activities, you can acquire the means and skills to improve your everyday life management and thus create opportunities for employment or studies. We will work together with you to make an individual service needs assessment as well as an activation plan. When planning the service, your life situation and individual needs will be taken into consideration. The service may include individual and group activities, which take place in various operating environments. The service always includes the personal support and guidance you need. In rehabilitative work activities, you can test and strengthen your ability to work and function in a safe, low-stress environment. During rehabilitative work activities, we will evaluate your progress towards your goals as well as your ability to work and function. In addition to the unemployment allowance, you will be paid a small financial compensation for the days you attend the work activities. You may also, in some circumstances, be eligible for a separate compensation for travel costs.
