Social work and counselling within the employment services

We will examine the obstacles to employment with you and look for solutions together.

Social instruction and social work are services for working-age people, where an employee comprehensively examines the obstacles to your employment with you and works with you to find ways to eliminate them. You do not need to be an unemployed jobseeker to meet with a social instructor. It is enough to want help with improving your employment situation. The employee can help you with challenges related to finances, everyday life and life management by means of social work and social instruction. They will support you in exploring your possibilities to progress towards employment. You can benefit from the service if you are ready to progress towards employment or studies but need support in your life to make your plans and dreams come true. The employee will map your situation with you and help you plan an individual path to employment, education or other services that suits your goals. They will refer you to services and actively monitor how your situation progresses. The service is a voluntary social welfare service provided free of charge. The social counsellor will help you with challenges related to finances and everyday life management with the tools of social counselling. The social counsellor also supports you in exploring your options for finding employment. You can benefit from the service if you are planning to enter working life or to improve your skills through studies but need support with implementing your plan and making your dreams come true. The social counsellor will examine your situation and plan with you a personalised path towards employment, education or other services in accordance with your goals. The instructor will refer you to services and actively keep track of your progress. This social welfare service is voluntary and free of charge.
