Supported housing for adults

We arrange supported housing for persons who need help in managing their housing or arranging their housing.

Supported housing services are intended for people who need help or support for practical housing matters or arranging housing due to special reasons. The aim of supported housing is to support independent living and management of everyday life. You can receive housing support at home, in a housing unit or in scattered rented housing. You can receive housing support when you are moving to your own flat, for example, from your parents or other guardians or from an institution, or if you are or your family is at risk of becoming homeless. The support and guidance included in the service are planned according to your needs, and they focus on strengthening your ability to function, life management and participation in your everyday life. Housing support counsellors will visit you according to a mutually agreed plan, and you can also receive guidance and counselling by telephone or via digital channels. The counsellors are social and health care professionals. The need for services is assessed on a regular basis in cooperation with the client and the social and health care professional. As a rule, the housing support services are temporary, but in some cases, the need for support may last longer. You are personally responsible for paying rent and other housing costs as per your lease agreement.
