Guidance that supports integration

We aim to improve the daily life of the entire family by supporting their integration into Finland.

The aim of the guidance that supports integration is to promote the everyday living of clients who have moved to Finland and their families in their own living environment. The aim is to increase the clients' independence, inclusion and well-being. Guidance that supports integration may be short-term or long-term intensive and continuous support. It may consist of, for example, advice and guidance on matters related to housing, dealing with authorities and filling in forms. Together with you, we can explore your living environment and even use public transport. If necessary, you can receive help to furnish your flat. We can also escort you to services and remind you of agreed visits. Families with children can receive support for practical matters related to children, such as applying for a day-care or school place and exemptions from fees as well as finding a suitable hobby for the child. Guidance that supports integration may also include group activities aimed at promoting your inclusion and independence. Granting support is based on the assessment of the client's service needs or their client plan. If necessary, guidance will be agreed on in cooperation with the municipality.
