Senior Council
In accordance with section 32 of the Act on Wellbeing Services Counties, the County Board will establish a Senior Council to ensure the participation and influencing opportunities of aging residents.
The Senior Council will be granted the opportunity to impact the planning, preparations, implementation and supervision of the Wellbeing Services County’s operations in matters that affect senior citizens and the services they need, or that the influencing body considers relevant, and the Senior Council must be included in the development of participation and resident advocacy within the Wellbeing Services County.
