Youth Council
In accordance with section 32 of the Act on Wellbeing Services Counties, the County Board will establish a Youth Council (or a similar youth advocacy group) to ensure the participation and influencing opportunities of young people.
The Youth Council will be granted the opportunity to impact the planning, preparations, implementation and supervision of the Wellbeing Services County’s operations in matters that affect children and youth and the services they need, or that the Youth Council considers relevant, and the Youth Council must be included in the development of participation and resident advocacy within the Wellbeing Services County.
