Help and Support for Intimate Partner Violence
Nollalinja helps anyone who has experienced emotional, physical, or sexual violence, including threats of violence, in close relationships, as well as to those close to the victims. Shelter homes are available for anyone who has experienced or is threatened by intimate partner violence, regardless of gender or age. These shelters provide free, temporary refuge during acute crises. They offer crisis intervention, 24/7 secure accommodation, counselling, and advice related to the situation. Staff are available on-site around the clock. There are also staff available around the clock to answer calls about intimate partner violence, assess threats, and provide assistance. Callers can receive help by becoming clients of the shelter home or being referred to other appropriate services.
