Budget for 2023, Financial Plan for 2023–2025 and client fees approved

The County Council approved the Budget for 2023 and the Financial Plan for 2023–2025 and revised the Administrative Regulations. At its meeting, the Council decided on the wellbeing services county’s client fees in healthcare and social welfare, as well as on the principles for reduction of or exemption from the fees.

The net expenditure for the healthcare and social welfare and the Rescue Department in the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County is approximately EUR 1,734 million for the year. In 2023, the projected deficit is approximately EUR 70.6 million, which will be covered during the financial plan period. A plan for rebalancing the economy will be prepared during 2023, in connection to work on the service strategy.

Client fees

The County Council decided on the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County’s client fees in healthcare and social welfare, as well as on the principles for reduction of or exemption from the fees, starting 1 January 2023. 

Administrative Regulations

The County Council revised the Administrative Regulations. For example, two employee representatives, entitled to attend and speak, will be nominated to the Services and Resources Committee.

The other items on the agenda were approved according to the propositions.
