Automation helps personal assistance employers and employees
The Oima system for personal assistance has introduced new features. There are also deadlines for time lists related to the payment of wages as a reminder.
Automatic tax card update
Employees no longer need to provide their new or revised tax card to Disability Services. The Disability Services secretary electronically retrieves the employee’s tax card from the Tax Administration system before the payday using the Oima system.
Pay groups as of 1 January 2024
A new pay group classification (A–B1–B2–C) will enter into force at the beginning of the year. If you belong to pay group B, you do not need to contact Disability Services. You will be automatically transferred to pay group B1.
For pay groups B2 and C, it will be assessed separately whether your tasks include demanding care-related or other tasks belonging to these groups.
