Free contraception in the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County starting from January 1, 2024

Throughout 2023, the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County has been offering free contraception, with different practices in each municipality. Starting from 1 January 2024, we will standardise our practices and offer comprehensive birth control for free for people under 20 years old. We will also provide free long-term contraception for people of any age who have had a termination of pregnancy or who are clients of the substance abuse services.
