Administrative review requests for organisational grants to be processed in March

During its upcoming meeting on 7 March 2024, the Future and Development Committee of the Wellbeing Services County will process requests for administrative reviews related to the 14 December 2023 decision on organisational grants. A total of 10 requests are set to be reviewed. Following legally binding decisions, the Wellbeing Services County will initiate payment of 2024 organisational grants as follows:

• In line with the committee’s decision, general grants will be disbursed as a one-time payment directly into the bank account specified by the organisation in their application.
• Partnership grants will be distributed in two payments based on the committee’s decision:
  • The first payment, covering 1 January to 30 June 2024 will be made in March 2024.
  • The second payment, covering 1 July to 31 December 2024 will be made in August 2024.
• Organisations must promptly inform us of any changes to the payment details stated in their application by sending an email to avustukset@luvn.fi.
• Important: Starting 1 January 2024, organisations will no longer be able to submit invoices to the Wellbeing Services County for targeted grants, a change from the practice in 2023.

Reporting for the 2023 organisational grants will commence this spring. Guidelines for grant reporting will be published on the Wellbeing Services County’s website. Organisations that received grants will be informed about their reporting obligation. The reporting process will involve completing a questionnaire detailing how the activities were funded and how the 2023 grants were utilised in alignment with the granting decision (County Board 10 October 2022 § 138).
