The following fees will change
Services that support mobility
- The out-of-pocket expenses (own-liability threshold) for transport services under the Social Welfare Act and the Disability Services Act will be updated according to the 2024 price lists of Helsinki Region Transport (HSL) and Matkahuolto.
Short-term round-the-clock care for over individuals above 16
- The new fee is €35.90 per day.
Coaching for independent living
- The fee for coaching that lasts less than 21 days remains €14.90 per day. Clients will also pay for meals based on their consumption.
- For continuous coaching that lasts 21 days or more, clients will pay a rent-like housing fee of €250 per month. They will also pay an upkeep fee for each full month. The fee does not apply to clients who already have an apartment for which they pay rent or maintenance charges and living costs.
Statutory leave of informal carers
- The new fee is €12.80 per month.
Rehabilitation care
(Institutional rehabilitation care provided for individuals with disabilities or intellectual disabilities)
- The new fee is €18.80 per day.
Short-term institutional care
- The new fee is €54.60 per day.
These changes result from adjustments made within the Wellbeing Services County and statutory increases in accordance with the National Pensions Index and the earnings-related pension index. Some fees are modified for both reasons.
