The introduction of the Oima system this spring 2024 will bring several benefits to the about 3,700 wellbeing services county contractors such as informal carers, foster carers and family carers.

Instead of the current slow, labour-intensive manual paperwork, in Oima, all your work and information processing happen in one place and in real time. Oima is
real-time and easy to use. For example, an informal carer can easily report their days off and track the number of days off available. A substitute carer, on the other hand, can submit notifications for the days they have completed. The wellbeing services county professionals can view the information in the system and check it for payment.

The research funding is part of Finland's Sustainable Growth Programme.
