Oima enables smoother everyday life for fee-based contractors
The daily life of fee-based contractors will become easier with the introduction of the Oima system this spring. This update brings several benefits to the about 3,700 wellbeing services county contractors such as informal carers, foster carers and family carers.
Why Oima?
Instead of the current slow, labour-intensive manual paperwork, in Oima, all your work and information processing happen in one place and in real time. This will bring considerable relief to the everyday lives of both contractors and Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County professionals. Oima is not only easy to use but also a clear system.
Real-time and easy to use
The Oima system enables real-time communication between all parties. For example, an informal carer can easily report their days off and track the number of days off available. A substitute carer, on the other hand, can submit notifications for the days they have completed. The wellbeing services county professionals can view the information in the system and check it for payment.
Benefits for fee-based contractors
- Professionals and fee-based contractors gain more time to focus on their customers.
- The new system reduces manual work and the chance of errors.
- It makes everyday life easier when the necessary information is available in one place.
- As the service can be used anywhere and at any time, you are no longer bound to a time and place.
Designed with users
The Oima system has been developed in cooperation with service users. It is easy to use and accessible. In disability services, Oima has already been used in the employer model substitute payer situations within personal assistance.
