10.4.2024 13.03

The county board relaunched the preparations for the service network development of the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County and gave responsibility for the preparations to a negotiating committee of the county council. In addition, the county board decided to start negotiations on the severance pay with the shareholders of Oy Apotti Ab.

In its meeting, the county board recorded the Wellbeing Services County Director’s proposal for the development of the service network in accordance with the service strategy. Next, the negotiations committee of the county council will continue the preparations and different stakeholders can comment on the proposal.

Wellbeing services county has started preparations for breaking away from Oy Apotti Ab

The Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County became a shareholder of Oy Apotti Ab on 1 January 2023 with the shares transferred in the business transfer of the wellbeing services county reform. The social welfare and health care client and patient information system Apotti is used by the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County only in Kauniainen. On 11 September 2023, the county board decided to organise a tender competition for the wellbeing service county’s client and patient information system solution, which means that the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County no longer has grounds for being a shareholder of Apotti in the future. The wellbeing services counties of Eastern Uusimaa and Central Uusimaa have made plans to break away from the company. Negotiations on the exit of small shareholders were launched in 2023, and the county board decided today to start negotiations with other shareholders on the severance pay to be defined in the exit agreement.
