There was a water leak on the flat roof of the staff room on the third floor at Leppävaara Health Station on Wednesday afternoon around 2 p.m. The leak was caused by a failing pipe joint. Hundreds of litres of household water spread out from the room where the accident took place to the waiting area and nearby rooms.
The Western Uusimaa Rescue Department arrived at the site to perform damage preventions tasks, and the team managed to stop the leak and dry out the water.
The accident did not entail casualties.
The water damage affects native X-ray imaging, suspended for the time being.
