The aim of the Therapists' patient transfer workshops was to improve patient safety and promote wellbeing at work. At the workshops, participants practised the use of various assistive equipment for patient transfers, including some less common ones. The employees got to experience what it feels like to be a patient in a transfer situation, gaining insight into the patient's perspective and feelings. The workshops covered matters relating to safety and the correct use of equipment, and these were directly adapted at the wards. The workshops on patient transfer ergonomics were found to be useful and further workshops are planned. The therapists shared their skills commendably, demonstrating that when a worker knows how to use transfer aids, they will also utilize them effectively.

Honourable mention to two client and patient safety achievements
