Changes to care arrangements in Kirkkonummi for over 16-year-old patients with type 1 diabetes

The care for over 16-year-old patients with type 1 diabetes in Kirkkonummi will be transferred to Espoo Diabetes Centre from May 2025.

This change is carried out to develop services and harmonise care practices in the wellbeing services county. With a harmonised operational model, we will be able to offer equal, high-quality and comprehensive care to our patients.

Instructions for patients:

Book an appointment according to your care plan with your own diabetes nurse, who will guide you to the new service.
