New broker to gradually take over transport services

3.1.2025 10.48

We organise transport services for our customers on the basis of the Social Welfare Act and the Disability Services Act. Transport services are provided for those who are unable to use public transport. On an annual basis, there are approximately 640,000 transport orders to be brokered and managed.

Based on the tendering process for transport services, we will be starting cooperation with passenger transport broker Keski-Suomen Matkojenyhdistelykeskus in 2025.

Based in Jyväskylä, the nationally operating Keski-Suomen Matkojenyhdistelykeskus Oy won the competitive tendering process for the brokerage and management services of social welfare and health care passenger transport in the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County.

Keski-Suomen Matkojenyhdistelykeskus is part of the Jyväskylän Aluetaksi group. The company has provided ride-brokering and transport services to the public and private sectors since 2003.

The onboarding project for the new partner will begin in early 2025, and cooperation is planned to begin gradually in 2025.
