Bring your vote to the well-being survey!
We have opened a well-being survey to collect information on the well-being experiences and concerns of the residents of the area, and the awareness of our well-being services. The results of the survey will be used in the preparation of the regional well-being report and plan for Western Uusimaa.
- Based on the statistical data obtained from the national data resources and the services of the wellbeing services county, it is known that the mental well-being of children and young people, physical inactivity, encountering violence, drug use and residents' livelihoods are themes that require special attention from the perspective of the promotion of wellbeing and health. We also know that the differences in well-being and health within our region are significant, which is important to take into account when planning goals and measures, says Jenni Björksten, Specialist in Welfare and Health Promotion.
However, the statistics do not tell us how the residents themselves perceive their situation and what kind of opportunities the residents have to take care of their own well-being and the well-being of their loved ones. It is also important to hear the voice of residents when we prepare goals and measures to promote the health and well-being of residents.
The survey will be carried out on the Voxit (formerly Polis) participation platform. The well-being survey presents statements that you can agree with, disagree with, or ignore if the statement does not apply to you. You can add your own statements to the platform for others to see and vote on during the first week of response. The survey is carried out anonymously on an accessible and secure website that you can also use on your phone. The wellbeing services county will moderate the statements and compile and analyse the responses after the response period has ended.
You can pop into the discussion several times to vote for new statements, as the platform remembers which statements you have already answered. If you assist another person in answering the survey and answer the survey more than once on the same device, use the browser in incognito mode later times.
How to participate in the survey
- The survey will be opened on Tuesday, 9 September. Click here for the participation platform(external link).
- Take a stand on the statements. You can add statements if you wish.
- The first phase of the survey ends on Monday 15 September. After this, no new statements can be added.
- From Tuesday 16 September, you can vote for the statements.
- Voting ends and the platform closes on Friday 3.10.
If you need help answering the survey or are unable to answer the survey with a smart device, assistance is available at the Ison Omena Library's Kohtaamiskahvila on September 25th from 1 PM to 3 PM.
Welcome to discuss and make a difference!
In September, the City of Espoo will also carry out discussions on the well-being of people with functional and mobility impairments and the well-being of children and young people, which Espoo residents can respond to. Statutory task of promoting health and well-being
The Act on Organising Health and Social Services obliges the wellbeing services county to promote the wellbeing and health of its residents. The wellbeing services county has the primary responsibility for promoting wellbeing and health to the extent that this task is linked to the wellbeing services county's other statutory duties.
The regional well-being report is a description of the well-being and health of the population in the region and the factors affecting them, as well as the measures taken. The plan section presents the objectives and measures to promote well-being and health for the new council term. Regional wellbeing account and plan are drawn up in cooperation with the municipalities in the region.
