Welcome to the seminar on the SOTEPALA research project

SOTEPALA is a unique research project worldwide, because it combines for the first time children’s need for support at school and school absenteeism with the use of social welfare and healthcare services. The goal is to understand the wellbeing of schoolchildren as a whole and allocate services more effectively.

The seminar includes following presentations:
- Researchers present the key findings of the project – What have we discovered on the allocation of school healthcare services, school social worker services and psychologist services?
- Panel discussion: How can the research findings change the services provided to children and young people?
The seminar features the SOTEPALA research team, consisting of experienced experts and doctoral researchers from different wellbeing services counties:
