The website Wellbeing for families and young people has been updated – Changes to the Omaperhe.fi service

5.11.2025 12.18

We have updated the theme pages targeted at families with children and young people on the website Wellbeing services, presenting a wide range of services and support.

The website Wellbeing for families and young people offers easy-to-access information, guidance and concrete services with links as support for everyday life.

The aim of the website is to promote health and wellbeing of the residents in our wellbeing services county by highlighting preventive and early support services. Information on services and events is automatically collected from the Finnish Service Catalogue and the Lähellä.fi service, with updates based on the details given by the service providers.

The search function helps users find services offered by their own wellbeing services county and other service providers in one place. The website also features theme pages, allowing users to easily find content, such as hobbies, support services for young people and support services in situations of divorce or grief. The website can be translated into 13 languages, and the content can be listened to, as well.

Changes to the role of Omaperhe.fi

The Omaperhe.fi service agreement of our wellbeing services county has expired at the end of October, which means that the services provided by different organisations in Western Uusimaa will no longer show up among the articles in the Omaperhe service. (Read the news article from 28 May 2025.)

We continue to recommend using the Omaperhe.fi website as a source of information, because the site offers a wide range of information and various instructions to support everyday life of families.
