The wellbeing services county invites residents to respond to a survey on the personal doctor model
We are inviting 8,000 residents of Western Uusimaa via text message to take part in developing the personal doctor model
The Wellbeing Services County of Western Uusimaa invites residents in the area to share their views on the personal doctor model. In designing the model, we want to make extensive use of both residents’ and staff members’ perspectives on how to make it as functional and smooth as possible.
In previous studies, clients using our social and healthcare services have considered competent professionals, smooth service, and quick access to care to be the most important factors.
Invitation to the survey will be sent via text message
We will send invitations to the personal doctor model survey via text message on March 18th 2026. The sender will appear as LUVN. The message will include a link that allows recipients to access the survey in Finnish or Swedish. It is not possible to reply to the text message.
Participation in the survey is voluntary and anonymous. The survey explores views on, among other things, interactions with a designated nurse or personal doctor, as well as the importance of having a familiar professional.
Half of those invited to the survey live in areas where the personal doctor model is not yet widely in use. The other half are patients assigned to a personal doctor.
