Need some suggestions for summer reads? The latest “Elinvoimaa ikääntyneille” supplement is out now
The summer edition of the “Elinvoimaa ikääntyneille” supplement has now been published. The supplement offers useful information and practical tips to support the wellbeing of the elderly, as well as current updates on the services of our wellbeing services county.
Copies of the “Elinvoimaa ikääntyneille” supplement will be distributed between 27 May and 10 June 2026. The latest issue explores, among other topics, how everyday actions can help support brain health and memory and how to stay comfortable during hot summer days. The supplement also highlights reforms to wellbeing services county services, such as the general practitioner system, which aims to make healthcare smoother and more efficient.
The “Elinvoimaa ikääntyneille” supplement is intended for the elderly living in our region and their loved ones. It is published three times a year, and its purpose is to promote safe living at home for the elderly while providing up-to-date information on services for elderly people.
Physical copies are distributed to homes together with local newspapers across Western Uusimaa. They are also available in libraries, service centres and other local meeting places throughout the region. The supplement can also be read online in both Finnish and Swedish.
