Changes to the transport service booking app
Keski-Suomen Matkojenyhdistelykeskus (KSMYK) is responsible for transport services in our wellbeing services county under the Social Welfare Act and the Disability Services Act. During this year, Keski-Suomen Matkojenyhdistelykeskus will replace its current transport dispatch system with the Vinka Ride system.
Service users can continue to use the transport service as before. The existing booking channels, including telephone numbers, the text message service and email addresses, will remain unchanged.
The RideIT app currently used to book transport will be updated to a new app. We will announce the date separately once the update schedule has been confirmed.
The system change aims to create a smoother experience for users while improving the efficiency of transport coordination and service delivery.
