Update of patient information system will cause service interruptions in digital health services between 6 and 8 November 2026
Because of a system update, there will be downtime periods in the digital services of West Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County between 6 and 8 November 2026. Urgent care clinics will be open with exceptional arrangements at the weekend and may become congested.
Digital health services unavailable and the digital clinic closed
Because of the update of the patient information system, making appointments or viewing one’s data will not be possible in Lunna from 21.00 on Friday 6 November 2026 to 02.00 on Sunday 8 November 2026. The digital health services at luvn.terveytesi.fi, such as ordering self-care supplies, will also be unavailable.
Health centres’ digital clinic in Lunna will be closed on Saturday 7 November 2026.
The services are expected to return to normal use after 02.00 at night on Sunday 8 November 2026. However, individual services may still be slow or have disruptions during Sunday.
Urgent care clinics open also at the weekend but service may become congested
The urgent care clinics in Kirkkonummi, Raseborg and Lohja will be open 8.00–20.00 also between Friday 6 November and Sunday 8 November.
“The operation of urgent care clinics will be secured with additional staff, but because we have to rely on exceptional arrangements, our operation will be slower and may become congested,” explains Laura Kongas, Service Line Director for Health Services of the Southern Area.
If you need urgent treatment, call the free medical helpline 116 117 before going to the emergency clinic. The call will be answered by a healthcare professional, who will assess the urgency of your condition and give you treatment instructions and advice on what to do.
In life-threatening situations, call 112.
In non-urgent matters, contact your local health centre on a working day
During the weekend, we may direct patients from urgent care clinics to contact the clinic again on a working day if the patient’s matter does not require urgent treatment. The version update may also slow down the operation of health centres, particularly at the beginning of the week, between 9 and 11 November. If the matter is not urgent, we recommend that you contact them later in the week.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the system update!
