Turvaposti Secure Email System

For sending messages or attachments containing personal data to the Wellbeing Services County, please use the Turvaposti secure email system.

Instructions for using Turvaposti  

  1. Navigate to the Wellbeing Services County’s secure email portal: https://turvaposti.luvn.fi/(external link).
  2. Enter your email address in the “From” field. 
  3. If you’re not yet a Turvaposti user, please follow the on-page instructions for registration.  During registration, an email with a personal link will be sent to you, granting you access to send encrypted emails. The link remains valid for 10 days.
  4. Use the provided link in your email to access the Turvaposti system. 
  5. Write your message and add any attachments.  
  6. Ensure the recipient’s address is correct. The recipient's email address must be in the format @luvn.fi.
  7. Click "send.” 
  8. As a final step, clear your browser’s cache to ensure that subsequent users of the same device cannot view your personal data. Clearing the cache is generally done by selecting “Tools” in your browser’s menu, followed by “Settings” or a similar option.
