Other diagnostic services

Other diagnostic services refer to the various examinations and appointments used to determine the diagnosis of certain illnesses and to assess their severity and prognosis. Examinations are often also necessary to monitor the effectiveness of treatment and, for example, to assess the ability to work. The examinations include, e.g. the long-term registration of electrocardiograms and blood pressure as well as the polygraphy examination used in diagnosing sleep disorders. The examinations and appointments require a referral from the treating physician through a booked appointment. When making an appointment, you will receive instructions for preparing for the examination. It is important to follow the instructions in order for the examination to be successful. The examinations can be short-term measurements or long-term registrations, where the registration device accompanies the patient throughout the follow-up period.
