Emergency social services for undocumented people

We support undocumented people by arranging accommodation and necessary living for them.

Persons who do not have a residence permit for Finland or whose asylum application has been rejected and who are no longer reception centre clients are considered undocumented. If you are an undocumented person, you can seek support from social services. We will help you if you are concerned about your livelihood, housing or other life situation.

A social worker or social counsellor will assess your service needs, direct you to Kela to apply for urgent social assistance if necessary, and advise you on other services. If necessary, we will decide on necessary financial support or accommodation for you. We can set up appointments with you. Their purpose is to help you find a sustainable solution for your situation.

Conditions for receiving the Service

The service is intended for persons who do not have a residence permit for Finland or have received a negative decision on an asylum application and is no longer a client of a reception centre.
