Social and crisis emergency services

In the on-call work of the social and crisis emergency services, we provide help in acute situations. Additionally, we guide and refer you to further services that are suitable for you. We provide you with help, security and care in various emergency and crisis situations, such as situations related to child welfare, adult social work or social work for the elderly, as well as in accidents or other sudden crisis situations. Emergency social work consists of counselling, guidance, consultation and working in acute crisis situations. We also work in situations that require immediate action by the authorities. Social emergency services operate outside office hours. During office hours, the service is provided by the office hours services of the wellbeing services county. - Weekdays, 15:00-8:00 - from Friday 15:00 to Monday morning 8:00 and - On public holidays, from the preceding weekday starting at 15:00 until the following weekday at 8:00. Crisis emergency services provide you with help in sudden traumatic crises, such as accidents or other devastating events (for example, the death of a loved one, you or your loved one falling seriously ill, violence or a fire). Crisis emergency services are available 24/7. We often work in cooperation with various authorities. Our tasks come from, for example, the clients themselves, the emergency response centre, the police, the rescue department and health care. We can meet the client at home, in the facilities of the social and crisis emergency services, at the police station or at other social and health care facilities.

Conditions for receiving the Service

The clients of social and crisis emergency services are residents of all ages of the Wellbeing Services County and people in the Wellbeing Services County who need urgent social work or acute crisis work services.

The service is free of charge.
