Group home for asylum seekers who have arrived in Finland as unaccompanied minors

We provide care and guidance for children who have entered Finland as minors.

A group home is a reception centre for underage asylum seekers who have arrived in Finland without a guardian. The purpose of the group home is to safeguard, maintain and develop the physical and mental functioning of the children during the asylum process, and to provide them with the best possible prerequisites for leading a good and independent life on their own terms afterwards. The operations of the group home are based on the Reception Act and an agreement with the Finnish Immigration Service.

Conditions for receiving the Service

- The group home services are intended for underage asylum seekers who have arrived in Finland without a guardian. - The operations of the group home are based on the Act on the Reception of Persons Applying for International Protection and on the Identification of and Assistance to Victims of Trafficking in Human Beings and an agreement with the Finnish Immigration Service.

The service is free of charge.
