Home care

Home care services support living at home through counselling, care and rehabilitation when your ability to function has declined due to ageing, illness or injury. Home care can be either temporary or regular, depending on the client’s needs. Temporary home care can last up to two months. When the service need for home care is regular, the client is covered by regular home care. As a client of home care, you receive support for everyday activities that are challenging for you. It can be, for example, eating and nutrition monitoring, bathing, getting dressed, getting up from the bed or going to the toilet.

We can also take care of your medication if you are unable to do so. For home care clients, the dispensing of medication is implemented through the pharmacy's automated dispensing system. The home care service is provided by trained social and health care workers. In addition to home visits, the service may include remote home care. Based on your individual needs, home care can be provided round the clock, every day of the week.
