Applications for summer jobs usually start early in the year, in February. There is a wide range of summer jobs available in a variety of roles, such as assistant youth worker, football coach, island worker or kitchen assistant. The jobs are located all over Helsinki, and they offer an excellent opportunity to develop and work both independently and as part of a team.
The tasks of an assistant youth worker are diverse and interesting. The job involves guiding children and young people in various settings, such as small groups, open youth centre activities, day camps and excursions. Activities are organised in parks, youth centres, shopping centres and other settings.
