Join us and experience diverse career opportunities as a doctor in Western Uusimaa. You can choose to work at a conventional or a team-oriented health centre, where you can integrate your skills with various services, such as those for children, young people and families.
Our hospitals have inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and home care units. Rehabilitation is carried out by multidisciplinary teams. You can also work as a full-time doctor in our child and maternity health clinics. We support research through flexible work arrangements.

We prioritize your ability to do your job well and develop your skills. Along with orientation, we provide weekly on-site training and personal guidance. Additionally, you are entitled to 10 external training days per year. Support from senior workers is readily available in all unit locations and you have plenty of opportunities for job rotation.
You have influence over your work
You will have genuine influence over your work duties and schedule. Many of our doctors work part-time and we have expanded the possibilities for partial remote work, as we believe in balancing work and personal life.
We serve a diverse clientele, encompassing children, adults, the elderly, and immigrants. Standard working hours are 8.00–16.00 (Monday to Friday), and your working hours will adhere to the collective agreement of The Finnish Medical Association. Our health centres provide urgent care during office hours, but do not offer emergency services as such. However, you will have the option to include on-call emergency services duties at HUS-affiliated hospitals, such as the Jorvi Hospital.
