Working in social work for people with disabilities
The teams in social work for people with disabilities work at five service locations in the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services. However, in our work we move around in our entire area. Our work community consists of around 60 social work professionals; social counsellors and social workers. Become our colleague!Social work for people with disabilities is interesting and meaningful work, where you help people with different kinds of disabilities and their families to cope with everyday challenges and to get the services that they are entitled to. The work includes, among other things, service needs assessments for clients, home visits, making service decisions and coordinating different kinds of services.

A senior social worker is in charge of the team and the teams include both social counsellors and social workers.
