The strategic area of responsibility of the Services and Resources Committee is to process and decide on matters related to the equality and accessibility of healthcare and social services and to ensure that the integration goal is met. The Committee monitors and assesses the availability of personnel and the consideration of the residents’ participation and influencing opportunities when designing the services. Additionally, the committee is responsible for the self-monitoring of its strategic responsibility area and the monitoring and assessment of special medical care.
The committee’s duties are to
guide the strategic work regarding its own area of responsibility and assess the implementation of this strategy on its part;
guide the preparations of the service strategy regarding its own area of responsibility and assess the implementation of this service strategy on its part;
make statements to the County Board regarding the budget of the Wellbeing Services County and monitor the realisation of the budget regarding its own area of responsibility,
make statements to the County Board regarding the Wellbeing Services County’s investment plan,
monitor and assess the accessibility and equality of the services as well as the coordination of service chains and units and make proposals regarding these,
monitor and assess the operations of special medical care,
monitor, assess and promote the availability of staff,
guide the preparations of the strategic guidelines of HR policy,
monitor and promote the realisation of residents’ participation and influencing opportunities,
approve the necessary quality and self-monitoring reports and reviews,
make proposals to the County Board regarding their own area of responsibility.
