Disability Council
In accordance with section 32 of the Act on Wellbeing Services Counties, the County Board will establish a Disability Council to ensure the participation and influencing opportunities of disabled people.
The Disability Council will be granted the opportunity to impact the planning, preparations, implementation and supervision of the Wellbeing Services County’s operations in matters that affect people with disabilities and the services they need, or that the Disability Council considers relevant, and the Disability Council must be included in the development of participation and resident advocacy within the Wellbeing Services County.
