We are an active research community that aims to identify impactful practices and services in primary health care and social work and to introduce researched information to support the development of operations. We cooperate closely with other social welfare and health care actors, educational institutions and higher education institutions, and other stakeholders. We observe ethical principles in our research and ensure the good quality of research. Research activities are guided by the research strategy.
 

The Western Uusimaa wellbeing services county offers versatile opportunities for theses and research. A research permit is needed for all studies, development projects and theses that involve the collection and processing of personal data.
