Disruption within the Kanta Services

3.8.2023 The disruption is now over and the prescription features work. However, due to the disruption, there is a backlog in the renewal of prescriptions. We apologise for the inconvenience.

As of 1 August 2023, a disruption within the Kanta Services has been preventing the writing and renewal of prescriptions as well as data retrieval and transfer to the system.

This disruption affects health centres in the following areas: Kirkkonummi, Vihti, Siuntio, Ingå, Lohja, Raseborg, and Karkkila.

The cause of the issue has been identified and it is currently being fixed.

During this week, we recommend to avoid calling health centres about prescription-related matters.

Once the issue is resolved, we will attend to pending prescription renewal requests. However, if your prescription has not been renewed within the 8-day timeframe, please primarily contact us through online service channels for prescription-related matters.
