Health Station Phone Numbers to Change in Three Stages
This spring, the phone numbers for our health stations will be updated to operate uniformly with the same system logic and opening hours. We use a call-back service, open for call-back requests on weekdays.
The numbers will change in three phases:
- 11 April Espoo and Kauniainen. The new number is 09 47636 400
- 24 April Lohja, Karkkila, and Vihti. The new number is 09 47636 440
- 16 May
- Ingå and Raseborg. The new number is 09 47636 410
- Kirkkonummi. The new number is 09 47636 430
The phone numbers for the Siuntio, Hanko, Sammati, Karjalohja, and Pusula health stations will remain unchanged for the time being.
How to Use the Phone Service
After the updates, here's how to navigate the phone menu at your health station:
- Call your health station's number.
- Choose your preferred language:
- Finnish
- Swedish
- English
- Select your health station.
- Next, select the option that best describes your need:
- Cancelling an appointment
- An urgent concern
- A non-urgent issue
- Vaccination
For appointment cancellations, leave a message in the voice mail. In other cases, our system will record your phone number and we will return your call as soon as possible.
Standardized Text Messaging Services for Individuals with Speech and/or Hearing Impairments
Each health station will have its own dedicated text number for those who are unable to communicate by voice. A complete list of these numbers for each health station can be found on our website.
You can also use the text messaging number to cancel an appointment for the particular health station. When sending a cancellation text, please include the client’s name, date of birth, the scheduled date of the appointment, and which appointment is being cancelled.
Digital Symptom Assessment: An Alternative to Phone Service
If you have new health symptoms or concerns and prefer not to wait for a callback, use the Omaolo digital symptom checker. The service evaluates the urgency of your healthcare needs and offers care instructions for your specific situation. Should your symptoms necessitate a professional evaluation, you can either send us a message or receive a referral to book an appointment. All communications initiated via Omaolo are handled by professionals at your health station.
The service is available in Espoo, Hanko Ingå, Karkkila, Kirkkonummi, Lohja, Raseborg, Siuntio, and Vihti, with plans to expand to Kauniainen.
