New Service Hours for Disability Services Customer Service

We have standardized service hours of our Disability Services customer service, which previously varied by municipality. The new phone service hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9–11 a.m. and 12–3 p.m. The phone number for our customer service will remain the same: 029 1512 425.

Earlier this autumn we standardized our email address which is vammaispalvelut@luvn.fi. Use Turvaposti secure mail for messages that contain personal information or attachments. You can access Turvaposti here.

The aim of these changes is to enhance accessibility of customer service and provide a consistent experience for all Western Uusimaa residents.

The disability services customer service can assist you if a disability or long-term illness causes difficulties, for example, with housing, mobility, or managing at home, and if primary services are not sufficient for your needs. Primary services refer to, for example, home care or services for children, youth, and families that are granted according to the Social Welfare Act.

You will receive customer service in Finnish and Swedish, and when necessary, in English.
