Changes to health stations in Lohja on 1 April 2026
On 1 April 2026, the Pusula Health Station will be converted into an essential-service health station. At the same time, the health stations in Karjalohja and Sammatti will close, and clients of these stations will be transferred to the Lohja Central Health Station.
UPDATE 23 March 2026 HUS Diagnostic Center:
The laboratories in Pusula, Sammatti and Karjalohja will be closed on 30–31 March.
This change is based on a earlier decision by the County Board. Its purpose is to improve access to non-urgent care and continuity of care, while also securing the availability of local services in the future.
“We wish to ensure that residents in Pusula will continue to have health services close to home. The essential-service health station will continue to offer appointments with doctors and nurses, physiotherapy and assistive equipment services. If the essential-service health station cannot meet the needs of our clients, we can guide them quickly to a suitable place of care,” says Service Line Director Valtteri Kiuru.
