The Everyday Wellbeing for Older Adults digital care pathway offers information and practical tips on topics such as physical activity, nutrition, sleep, and mental wellbeing. It can now be accessed throughout the wellbeing services county.

Even as we get older, we can take steps to support our wellbeing and maintain our ability to manage everyday life. Physical activity, good nutrition, sleep, mental wellbeing, and social connections all play a crucial part in staying healthy and managing everyday life. The Everyday Wellbeing for Older Adults pathway offers information and practical support for each of these areas.

Published this autumn, the pathway helps older adults assess their wellbeing, find reliable health-related information, and discover practical ways to maintain their wellbeing and ability to manage daily life. The digital pathway is available throughout the wellbeing services county in the Lunna app or in a web browser.

What does the digital pathway include?

The pathway begins with questionnaires about your wellbeing. Based on your answers, you will learn more about your health and wellbeing and receive practical suggestions suited to your situation.

The pathway runs for 12 weeks. During that time, you will receive information, tips, and assignments on topics including:

  • physical activity
  • nutrition
  • sleep
  • mental wellbeing
  • relationships
  • memory
  • heart health
  • safety at home
  • managing everyday life.

Guidance to services when needed

The Everyday Wellbeing for Older Adults pathway is primarily designed to help you look after your own wellbeing. However, in some situations, the pathway may recommend that you send a non-urgent message to a professional through Lunna. Depending on your situation, your message will go to your health station, physiotherapy services, occupational therapy services, Senior Info, or oral health services.

The digital care pathway does not replace urgent care. If you develop a new symptom or need urgent care, contact your health station or an emergency department. In an emergency, call 112.
