Self-supervision plans

The Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County directs and oversees the production of the services for which it is responsible.

The self-supervision programme of the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County outlines the methods used to supervise service quality and safety within the Wellbeing Services County. The most important form of supervision is self-supervision. Service units create annual self-supervision plans to aid the implementation of self-supervision. These plans detail how the quality, safety, and risk management of services are carried out within each specific unit.

Each service unit must create a self-monitoring plan to support the implementation of self-monitoring. This plan describes in more detail how the quality, safety, and risk management of services are ensured in that specific unit. The content and requirements for these plans are defined by Valvira, the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health.

Self-monitoring plans must be publicly available in the service units and online.
