Information on municipalities and organisations to be displayed in the Finnish Service Catalogue

It is advisable to take advantage of the Suomi.fi Finnish Service Catalogue in the visibility of the services of municipalities and organisations.

Finding services effortlessly is in everyone’s interest

The use of new kinds of electronic service platforms expanded in the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County in August 2024, when we introduced the electronic family centre, a website called Omaperhe.fi(external link). Information on the wellbeing services county, municipalities and organisations will be displayed on Omaperhe and in future, also on other service platforms, through the national Suomi.fi Finnish Service Catalogue.(external link)

The Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County recommends that organisations enter their service information into the Finnish Service Catalogue by using the Digital and Population Data Services Agency’s Service Management(external link). By entering their information directly into Finnish Service Catalogue, organisations can better influence the visibility of their information on the Omaperhe.fi website. Organisations can also describe their information in the Lähellä.fi service(external link).

It is important for residents and professionals that the services provided by municipalities and organisations are visible on Omaperhe. The Omaperhe website enables us to provide advice and guidance for different life situations to people with families and those starting a family. Timely access to support is in everyone's interest.

Service information support for municipalities

It is important for us that municipalities keep their information content in the Finnish Service Catalogue up to date. The links above provide additional information and training, and you can also contact us about the topic by emailing omaperhe@luvn.fi. Get in touch with us and we'll agree an introductory session.

The project implementing Omaperhe was part of the Sustainable Growth Programme for Finland (RRP) 2023-2024.
