Health examinations for the unemploy people
We assess the client’s state of health and examine their need for rehabilitation.
In the health examination, we will assess and support your health and wellbeing. Additionally, we will evaluate your ability to work and function and consider whether you would benefit from rehabilitation.
You may be referred to a health examination through employment services, social welfare services or health care, for example. This is always done with your consent. You can also book an appointment on your own initiative.
A health check focuses on assessing general health, lifestyle habits and work ability. The check-up does not include actual treatment of illnesses, specialist examinations, acute medical care, dental check-ups or the statutory pre-employment health examination. Instead, it is primarily a preventive and guidance-oriented visit.
During the health examination, you will be given an individual treatment or service plan. It will contain the plans and objectives relevant to your health, wellbeing and ability to work as well as a plan for the follow-up.
Conditions for receiving the Service
Unemployed people who are not covered by occupational or student health care services are entitled to the service.Read more in the article:
